Debunking the "Simple" Myth PLUS Free your Body and Mind
Thanks for joining us on Pickleball Therapy - the podcast dedicated to your pickleball improvement. If you have not yet subscribed to the podcast ... wait what?? you haven't subscribed? ... you know what to do.It's a myth that doing things simply is not the way to advance as a big old player. Just nothing could be further from the truth. As a Pickleball player, learning how to do the basics well and doing them over and over again is really how you play amazing pickleball.I'll give you one example. When you're returning serve, aim your shot 3 feet over the net. It is not going to look 'advanced' yet it's going to be highly effective and it's going to be safer. Bruce Lee said, 'I fear not the fighter who has practiced 10,000 kicks one time. I fear the fighter who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.'In the riff, I'm going to talk about freeing your body and your mind when you play. This is an area that I see more and more as I coach, which is players feeling trapped inside their own bodies and minds.
