Clearly, the environment needs help, and decarbonizing the world’s economy has been named as a primary and powerful method to contribute to the solution to climate change. Decarbonizing is to shed the use and need for any fossil fuel technology or industry. It is the boycott of things and services that depend on fossil fuels. And it is the divestment in fossil fuel industry and commerce. Decarbonization is necessary for depolluting our environment. There are many types of pollution: air-, ground-, and water-pollution. Going off the grid helps slow-down, stop, and reverse pollution. By ceasing, or at least diminishing, your demand on the polluting sectors of the water-, food-, energy-, and communications-grid; you firmly contribute to cut back on pollution.
