DEI and Justice featuring Kierra Bruggeman
It is important as leaders to acknowledge and create a space for DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) of others. This awareness allows leaders the ability to have a space addressing justice for all. Create a space where justice drives all actions, all behaviors, self awareness, both inside and out of your organization. Establish an environment where you understand that, as a leader, you are willing to ensure that you are gracious with specific groups that do not have the same privileges as your organization or yourself. DEI for others is not just a destination but a process where your passion is driven by the justice or the need for equality for all.DEI and Justice Takeaways:As leaders, it is important to understand the experiences of those that we come in contact with. This will allow you to become more intentional in the choices and decisions you make and how it impacts others.Do not be afraid to step outside of your norm in order to see and create an awareness from a different perspective. This will not only benefit yourself but others.Empower others by offering your services. Volunteering your time, allows you to teach other leaders how to lead a better and organized way as you strive to implement justice for all.Ensure that your mission, vision and core values are driven to include justice and equality for all.Like, share and subscribe or email: bstlinc21@gmail.com
