LSD is probably one of the hallucinogenic drugs that has some potential to be addictive and the autonomic nervous system is affected by LSD which can cause pupil dilation, increased blood pressure even body temperature changes. It also increases circulating cortisol levels and other things in the bloodstream like prolactin and oxytocin and epinephrine that are modulatory of the immune system. While DMT is an active compound, it's an analog of Tryptamine. This medication has the ability to increase your hearts variability, which suggests an increase in parasympathetic activation, which is the vagal tone. It also helps reduce inflammatory cytokines.We will also discuss the history of LSD and DMT along with the potential positive benefit these drugs can give in your overall health when taken minimally.  Disclaimer: we are not advocating the use of medication, but advocating the scientific study of these medications in helping those that are suffering.
