On this episode of Food Allergy Talk, I welcome Debbie Nichols and Candice Matthis of Two Alpha Gals. Debbie and Candice both live in southwest Virginia and were diagnosed with alpha-gal syndrome a few months apart in 2019. After several scary and frustrating incidents, they set out to raise awareness and help others navigate this complicated and under-diagnosed condition. In addition to Alpha Gal Syndrome, both Debbie and Candice have other food allergies.
