THE RISE AND FALL OF THE DWAYNE DYNASTY Dwayne Johnson (when he still put "The Rock" in his stage name) was cast as Black Adam in 2007. It wouldn't be until fifteen years later -- in 2022 -- that he'd finally make his debut as the character.
