One of the best coping skills that has become a necessity to me over the years is having therapy sessions with God. Having those sessions with God, not only sheds light on what triggers me, but also how I am able to put it to good use and use the wisdom God gave me to help others who have been in the dark places I was once in. Being truthful and honest about my trauma not only with God, but with other Christians can sometimes be hard, especially when pride is a factor, but it needs to be done. Yes there is a time to share and a time to stay quiet but how can others out in the world know what God is capable of if you're keeping the healing, what you're healed from or what you're currently going through a secret. Let's stop only showing the smiles when it comes to Christianity and start showing the tears as well.I'll go first
