Bathory was a Hungarian noblewoman who was believed to have murdered many young peasants and lesser noblewomen just so she could bathe in their blood and restore her beauty. But first, Krysta takes the opportunity to catch listeners up on what she has been doing when not on the show. Then Dean begins to discuss Bathory, her birth, her childhood, her supposed bloody mindedness and her death. We discuss the crimes she is accused of and the possibility that the charges were all a sham to level her political power and free the king from having to pay a debt he owed to her.
