Episode 156: Live from the MTV Ski Slopes
We’ve got new games to talk about this week! This episode, Susan talks about how Silent Hill: The Short Message completely whiffs its handling of its themes, Anthony talks about how Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown plays great but is missing something to make it special, and David digs into the non-legally-actionable Sujimon battles and Dondoko Island found in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Note: There’s some heavy discussion around the new Silent Hill in regards to self-harm and suicidal ideation, just wanted to put a warning out there in case you wanted to skip it. Also, we don’t spoil a ton from the new Like a Dragon game but we did bring up one of the big spoilers surrounding Ichiban’s backstory from the last one to set table stakes for the story in the new one.
