Episode 168 - Interview with Allan Anderson
Episode 116 - Interview with Allan AndersonAllan Anderson resides in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. He’s the proud Dad of two awesome daughters and has spent a career in the construction industry. Allan is currently a Senior Project Manager for some large multi-family developments.A quote I’ve heard Allan say often over the years is, “January 15, 1981 is the day I was saved from the grip of alcoholism”. He has accumulated forty-one years of sobriety and has a passion for teaching others who want what he has.In his family, his Dad, and brother have been in recovery for many years but as you’ll hear him say during the interview, he’s most proud of his daughter successfully accumulating almost nine years of being set free from her compulsive and destructive behaviors.Allan and I have known each other for more than seventeen years – he was one of the early attendees at Quest 180 in White Bear Lake, MN, plus he participated in my Wednesday morning Men’s Bible study group for many years. Allan attributes his long-term recovery to AA and the Quest 180 faith-based program.acourageousrecovery.com
