Episode 2: The One Where Pain Turns To Purpose Ft. JT Thomas
Is life happening TO you or FOR you? The difference is all in your mindset.Today, we have a remarkable guest, JT Thomas, who is a kidney transplant recipient. At the Young age of 20 his whole life was turned upside down when found out his kidneys were failing. The odds were not in his favor, and he should have died, but he survived. Over the past decade, his life has been shaped by going through the transplant journey. Now he's on a mission to make a difference and has founded his own charity, The Organ Trail. In this episode we take a deep dive into his charity, his transplant story, and his love life. From diagnosis to transplantation, JT has been blessed to have a support system that refused to let him quit. Driven by gratitude and the purpose of giving back, JT is determined to be that person for patients/students who are facing a similar situation. The Organ Trail will offer scholarships for students currently waiting for a transplant and students who have already received a transplant to be used for classes, books, or even rent.
