Episode 33: We're In A Fight For Equitable Pay

According to a recent report by Pew Research Center, the gender pay gap has barely closed in the US in the past two decades. In 2022, American women typically earned 82 cents for every dollar earned by men. That was about the same as in 2002, when they earned 80 cents to the dollar. Although there is no single explanation for why progress toward closing the gap has all but stalled, I believe I know why.  Women are Underestimated, Underrated and Undercompensated. In this episode I share examples of what it means to be underestimated and the proper response for overcoming it.
