On September 29, 1982 in Chicago seven people died after ingesting Tylenol capsules that had been filled with Cyanide. An unknown suspect had taken bottles from the shelves and in the days before tamper proof seals, replaced regular capsules with the deadly poison. While one person was arrested for trying to extort the company that owned Tylenol, no suspect has ever been charged with this rare form of mass murder.
