Episode 45 Victorian Cannibalism
Ever wonder why mummies are so rare this day in age? We have wondered the same thing and in this week's episode we are covering exactly that. Believe it or not, in the Victorian era, there was a widespread belief that consuming ground-up mummies could cure a variety of ailments, from headaches to epilepsy. Join us as we dive deeper into this bizzare practice with us. This week's food and drink pairing are "mummified" procuitto pretzels with blood wine. which is a few dashes of tobasco, 1 ounce of gold tequila, 1 ounce of spiced rum, a splash of grenadine and some cranberry juice. For a non alcohol option, take out the rum and tequila. Please drink responsibly.
