"Never alone and loved by many."Around 9:30 in the morning on November 1, 1980, a truck driver called 911 to report finding the body of a young girl on the side of I-45 passing through Sam Houston National Forest. For 41 years, she was known only as the Walker County Jane Doe, until finally being identified as 14-year-old Sherri Ann Jarvis in 2021. To this day, though, her murder remains unsolved.
