Episode 59 - Conversations With Strangers
Do you see the people you live next to, work with or pass in the lanes at the store? I've found that many people only need someone to listen to them, to be a beacon of hope in the midst of our individual craziness, to make us feel valuable. This time of year can be harder for people. With all the hoopla of family get-togethers, parties and interactions along with the supposed peace on earth and goodwill toward men, we forget that many are suffering all around us! If we will only stop, listen and be available to those around us, we might be able to be the best of the holidays for them. My reminder to myself is to be more gracious right now. To smile where I can, to lend an ear as well as a hand to those around me. Maybe it's something you want to do too?
