Episode 65 - Margot Bloomstein, Trust Builder
Margot Bloomstein is a true powerhouse in the content strategy industry. With her notable publications, including "Trustworthy: How the Smartest Brands Beat Cynicism and Bridge the Trust Gap" and "Content Strategy at Work: Real-World Stories to Strengthen Every Interactive Project," Margot has become a prominent voice in the field. As the principal of Appropriate, Inc., a renowned brand and content strategy consultancy based in Boston, Margot has worked with industry giants like Harvard University, Fidelity, Mailchimp, and Timberland, showcasing her breadth of expertise. She is known for her development of the message architecture-driven approach to content strategy and the creation of BrandSort, a widely embraced tool. Margot's impact extends beyond her consulting work. She has been a featured speaker at prestigious events such as the Content Strategy Consortium and SXSW. She is an advisor at Women Talk Design and also teaches in the content strategy graduate program at FH Joanneum University in Austria. But Margot's journey didn't start at the top. Hailing from a small town in New York, she pursued a BFA in Design and Anthropology at Carnegie Mellon University. Along the way, Margot gained teaching experience and established her successful content strategy consultancy. When she's not revolutionizing the content strategy world, Margot enjoys painting, exploring museums, and hiking with her German Shepherd rescue, Rex. Margot Bloomstein on LinkedIn Appropriate, Inc.
