Episode 7 (Interview) Jaland Worley
Jaland Worley has been training/competing in Grip for only a year but you wouldn't know that judging by his level of strength. In his first year Jaland has already accomplished many people's lifelong grip goals. Jaland is a blue belt in BJJ, enjoys chasing storms/photography, and also is very musically talented. Mostly known for his big gripper closes early on Jaland set out to improve in all aspects of grip so that he wouldn't be one dimensional and known as "just a gripper guy" In this episode Jaland becomes the 9th person ever to close The Mash Monster 7 Gripper. He literally took his official certifcation attempt mid interview! Jaland has serious grip strength and will be putting it to the test this weekend (Sept. 9th) as he travels to Heavy Hands 2023 in Virginia. Hope everyone enjoys Jaland's story and insight into training grip and why it's important to him. To check out some of his training and achievements follow him @dubyagrip on social media platforms.
