On March 11, 2004 four commuter trains in the city of Madrid, Spain were hit with bombs hidden in several of the trains' cars. The act of terror claimed 193 lives and injured over 2050 people. The people of Spain were extremely upset with their government as their leaders tried to use the attack for political gain. 3 days later, during the national election a change of power occurred due to a lack of trust between the citizens of Spain and their government.
