Every 68 Seconds, portraits that empower & Creativity with Samantha Dallet and Brian Fry
Trigger warning: This episode revolves around experiences of sexual violence.

To heal from sexual violence can be a long and difficult journey, often shadowed by shame. But what many ignore is that sexual violence is present in every culture and across demographics, the taboo's around this subject perpetuate the cycles of abuse. Which is why I have invited fellow advocates and survivors Samantha Dallet and Brian Fry, who are founders of the Every 68 Seconds Project, to talk about: Our personal experiences as survivorsHow having a creative outlet has helped us in processing the trauma. The struggles in staying active in our creative endeavors. The healing power of sharing our stories & empowering others. If you need support as a survivor or know anyone who does please check the following links:
The Women's Center of Jacksonville or call 904-721-7273
RAINN or call 800-656-HOPE
Suicide Prevention Line or dial 988

To learn more about Every 68 Seconds Project
Follow them on IG: @every68secondsproject

Follow the art project that started this podcast: @little_raging_warrior
Buy the art prints that inspire this work: CreativeBotica on Etsy http://littleragingwarrior.com/
