Expert By Experience Sophie

In this episode, Hannah is joined by Coloplast Ambassador Sophie. 

A Paramedic by trade, Sophie was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis in 2020 and had an ileostomy - which she calls Mona The Stoma - later that same year. 

Sophie talks to Hannah about her life with her stoma. How she was determined to get back to work, in what is a very physical, manual intensive job. How a second dog came around as a result of Sophie's operation and how her experience is helping her daughter who is currently going through the investigative phase of diagnosing bowel disease.
