This week we welcome Ruth Ivey., Food Rescue Manager for Second Harvest Food Bank of East TN!  She began her career with Second Harvest almost 20 years ago.<br/><br/> In her current position as a Food Rescue Manager, she is responsible for developing and fostering positive relationships with farmers, wholesalers, manufactures, distributors, retail grocery, and food service companies. She also works with  Agency Self-pickup community partners to acquire food donations and she oversees their donations and reporting. She manages 6 Food Rescue staff members that are picking up donations and delivering those donated goods to our community partners 6 days a week.! <br/><br/>Second Harvest as been serving the East Tennessee community for so many years so we are excited for you all to hear a more in depth conversation about what they do and how Ruth Ivey serves.
