From Drug Dealing to Dealing Hope and Transformation
A great conversation with two people who have totally different backgrounds and nothing that you could see in common. Until you listen and discover that J Haleem and I both grew up in New Jersey, struggled with challenges in our lives, and want to see, others transform their lives for the better. J Haleem went from working for $8 an hour at the Hampton Inn to earning six figures as a commercial photographer in just a few years. He wasn't able to accomplish all this while being a convicted felon. While working for $8 an hour, he developed his mantra # I Won't Starve, which was the catalyst for him to leave his job after only one year. Over his career, he's been able to work with international brands like Nike, Save the Children Foundation, NFL, Amtrak, and the WNBA. Since then, he has been pardoned, and now J. Haleem has a different title, best-selling author and motivational speaker. J Haleem uses the hashtag # I Won't Starve message to encourage and motivate students, entrepreneurs, and career-oriented individuals. His goal is to inspire you to build a platform to ensure that #You Won't Starve. Contact Information: Phone: 725-274-0239info@iwontstarve.com www.iwontstarve.com Social Media: @iamjhaleem
