Jake and John discuss the Colts preseason game against the Bears, and the decision to not have Anthony Richardson play. They also talk about how Richardson is handling being a rookie.   25:48 – 41:29 – Purdue football head coach Ryan Walters joins the show as we are just around the corner from the start of college football season! He talks about his first several months on the job, as well as some of the big acquisitions the team has made over the offseason. Coach Walters talks about trying to find the balance between spending time on the offense and defense, as he comes from a defensive background.   41:30 – 48:04 – John wraps up the first hour of the show!  48:05 – 1:17:17 – Stephen Holder of ESPN joins the show to talk about the Colts preseason game against the Bears over the weekend. Stephen and John discuss the decision to not play Anthony Richardson in the Colts only home preseason game, and if fans should be upset by that decision. They then get into the actual game itself, and what really stood out for the team, before touching on the situation with Jonathan Taylor.   1:17:18 – 1:26:52 – John talks briefly about the Cubs releasing friend of the show Tucker Barnhart, as well as about the Cincinnati Reds. Nate gives his thoughts on the Colts sitting Richardson against the Bears. They talk about the addition of receiver James Washington, and if he will find a spot on the 53-man roster. They also get into other position battles on the team.
