This week 30 30-year NHL linesman Mike Cvik dropped in to discuss the life of an official and some of his career highlights. Mike is now shaping future officials as the Director of Officiating for the Junior Prospects Hockey League. What advice does he have for future officials?Tali Campbell is the Vice-President and General Manager of the Coquitlam Express of the BCHL. The season is underway and for the first time, it is not under the direction of Hockey Canada. The impact of being independent was evident in recruiting and interest in the league from players, NCAA schools, and NHL scouts as the BCHL dropped the puck last weekend. Campbell also discussed the benefit of the Coquitlam HC affiliation in the JPHL.
