The Author Paul W Naragon is an American author presently living in Phoenix Arizona. As a child he lived on a farm until he left high school. In his twenties he worked as a new car sales manager for Buick, Honda and Mercedes-Benz. For a while he was a trouble-shooter for an insurance company. At thirty Paul joined the U.S. Army, he served in Germany and ended active duty as a member of the Multi-National Peacekeeping Force and Observers in the Sinai Desert, Eygpt. During that time, he received two Army Achievements Medals and two Army Commendation Medals. After military service Paul did a variety of jobs, including truck driving. After a near death experience accident, he was promoted to Director of Training a position he loved very much. Paul has lived in the Peruvian Andes and the Indian Himalayas; he has visited many countries in Central and South America, and it is fair to say that from those places the spiritual essences of some of his poems/messages originate; having seen and experienced the local cultures of those regions. Opportunities, for Paul are to be pursued, he studied Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin, was awarded a National Defence Foreign Language Fellowship to study Tibetan, he also studied Korean at the Defence Language Institute at Monterey in California, and Russian in college. Paul has been married now for four years to a woman he met forty years earlier, at that time their paths were on different tangents and for decades they led separate lives, but a chance encounter brought them together a few years back and neither of them have looked back. A quirky aspect of Paul’s life if you can call it that, is the fact he has no fear of death due to an out of body experience he had when he was four-years-old. For me that’s an interesting concept. Check out our video chat here! The Book This is the second book in what I see as the Gibberrish’s Rhymes series, whether Paul sees them in that way or intends for them to be viewed in that fashion is open for debate. Equally open for discussion is; is this book, a book of poems, or a collection of writings with significant messages attached to them, for me you’d be justified to take either viewpoint, but Paul’s stand here is set out in the first paragraph of the introduction, so I’ll give you his version, but at the end of the day you the reader should make your own mind up about these 117, poems, sayings, or writings. But the most important thing to remember is the underlying message within each significant text.  Paul’s Viewpoint: ‘Because this book is written in poetic rhyme does not mean the book is about poetry. On the contrary, poetry is the messenger delivering the message in a unique way. The message presented here is an assortment of ideas by which to create a new life for the reader who wishes to do so. One idea seldom considered is the vibrational frequency of particular words and visible impact they have on the body which is the unspoken source of health or illness.’ Paul’s ideology behind this book as far as I can see is to give you the reader a different aspect to life especially when it comes to making changes to our lives for the better. The rhyming couplets in the book show how lives evolve and how we can re- channel our inner energies to better ourselves bringing about a more balanced well-being persona to both ourselves and those around us. All I say here is, open his book and make your own minds up as to how you view Paul’s writings and idealistic thinking’s.
