girl talk: the dress code double standard, the sexualization of children and our progression of self image through the years
This one is for the girls! On this episode of Little Miss we challenge the dress code double standard for men and women but also for little girls and boys. We all start out as kids who feel equal but when was the moment for you as a young girl that you realized you couldn’t do the same things your male friends could anymore without shame or consequences?Among other topics we also address the sexualization of children which often results in even well intentioned parents passing the guilt and correction onto their daughters instead of the adults responsible. And finally as women we reflect on the first moment we felt insecure of our appearance and then the way our self image has changed and progressed through our life milestones, relationships and experiences. *this podcast is available as an extended cut on the official Patreon of Little Miss* <br/><br/>Patreon: patreon.com/LittleMiss182<br/><br/>Thank you for your support! ❤️
