GODDESS TALKS: Dianic Wicca and Women's Rites - with Ruth Barrett
Ruth Barrett is an ordained Dianic high priestess, a seasoned ritualist, teacher and author, dedicated to the propagation of Women’s Magick and Mysteries. Her critically acclaimed Women’s Rites, Women’s Mysteries: Intuitive Ritual Creation – Expanded 3rd edition was re-published in 2018 by Tidal Time Publishing. Her website is: https://www.guardiansofthegrove.org/In 1997 she was honoured as recipient of the L.A.C.E. award for outstanding contributions in the area of Spirituality from the Gay and Lesbian Center in Los Angeles. She co-founded Temple of Diana, Inc., and national Dianic temple with groves in California, Michigan, and Wales. Since 2020, Ruth teaches classes online through Guardians of the Grove/Temple of Diana, Inc. Her passion is teaching skills to create personal and group rituals, spell craft, and community building. Ruth is also a musician/priestess, internationally known mountain dulcimer recording artist and singer. Her numerous recordings beginning in 1980 have been among the pioneering musical works in the U. S. pagan and Goddess Spirituality Movements. Ruth was presented with the 2011 Jane Schliessman Award for outstanding contributions to women’s music from Women in the Arts at the National Women’s Music Festival. Ruth’s most recent recording in 2020 is Once And Future Amazons.
