Holy Spirit 4

This past weekend, Pastor Eric wrapped up the study on the Holy Spirit. It is evident throughout scripture that where the Spirit is there is life. This Sunday’s talk was framed around three questions regarding the Spirit of God:*Why is being filled with the Spirit of any value today?*How do you know the Spirit is in you?*What’s next?We learned that the Spirit in us isn’t just for us but it also means we get to be participants in the mission of Jesus in touching all of humanity. There are things we are to do while we follow Jesus that can only come with the power of the Spirit that lives in you. When the Spirit of God lives in you we learn there are things he gives to us: Gifts of the Spirit.We looked through different places in the bible that reference these gifts and we moved towards this reality that God gives us these gifts to enable us to live and do just life like Jesus did.
