How Do We Forgive but Not Forget?

Stacy & Stacy are back! They missed two days due to travel. Today's Scripture for the Memorial of St. Elizabeth of Hungary deals with forgiveness. How do we forgive and still protect ourselves from those who hurt us? They also pick back up in the Catechism on the section about the Gospels, in the words of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, "always finding fresh lights there, hidden and enthralling meanings."
