How Do We Keep Faith In These Struggles?
Job embodies faith in the middle of extreme pain, grief, and terrible loss. Job's attitude gives us a learning opportunity when we are tested and our faith is under attack by the enemy. Another learning opportunity comes from the prophet Habakkuk. He cried for justice but he got a discouraging answer that the Babylon nation was going to invade and destroy Israel.--As believers we have a long list of prayer requests, we cry, complain, and grieve to the Lord to change the course. While answers may come, delay, or come in a different format than what we expected- our attitude and positioning matter to keep Faith in Jesus. Habakkuk -Hab. 2-1 -, was terrified by what was happening and what was imminent, he decided to be on guard post to keep closeness to the Lord. This morning we look into how we keep faith in the midst of our struggles.
