I Think My New Neighbors Are Trying To Eat Me

That afternoon, I was in my office, which is on the second floor of our home, the window of which directly faces the street.
The moving truck had been parked there all day, though I found it a bit odd that all I'd seen thus far were movers. Every time I looked up (which was often since I couldn't focus on my novel), I expected to catch a glimpse of our elusive new neighbors, but alas, I was going to have to stay curious.
