Is sending Colton Cowser back to AAA the right move for him and the team?

The O's have optioned outfielder Colton Cowser back to AAA Norfolk on Monday, after a rough month in the big leagues where he hit just about .100 in 26 games.  Cowser is one of the team's higher rated prospects but he never seemed comfortable facing major league pitching.  Was this the right move that helps all parties involved?  Will a reset end up paying dividends like it did for Grayson Rodriguez?
