Jake Douglas qualified for his first CrossFit Games after finishing 3rd at Torian Pro, host of the Oceania Semifinal. At Semifinals, Douglas snatched 310 pounds during Event 4, the most of any athlete who qualified for the Games this year. [note: Tudor Magda hit 325 pounds at the North America West Semifinal, but failed to qualify for the CrossFit Games] After that, we revealed The Spin Top 25 Games Poll, a forward-looking ranking system that aggregates the rankings of 12 CrossFit analysts and media personalities in the space. We also touch on the recent Dave Castro news after taking a day to digest what happened. And finally, John, Tyler & Spin share our 5 top athlete performances in CrossFit Games event (well, mostly…Tyler struggled with the rules). If you’re curious and want to rewatch the events we discussed in our top 5, here are the links to those events (all of the links are timestamped to start with the correct heat): Spin<br />1.
