Genesis 45:1–8 NLT Joseph finally revealed himself to his brothers; he couldn’t put up with the front anymore. He wept and cried; the brothers were clearly shocked at what was happening. The same person they sold as a slave has become the prime minister of Egypt… Levels have changed! But what I want to focus on is that Joseph knew and understood his purpose—to be a forerunner for his family and preserve life—and because of this, he was able to focus on it. At this point, it was clear that there was no need to be angry with how they had treated him in the past. He even said "it was God that sent Him to Egypt". “So it was God who sent me here, not you! And he is the one who made me an adviser to Pharaoh….” Genesis 45:8 NLT Knowledge and understanding of purpose are paramount. Do you know and understand your purpose?
