Katie and her husband decided to start a family and quickly got pregnant after she believed it would be a longer road as it was for her mother. Her daughter Harper was born via emergency c-section after being diagnosed with preeclampsia. For her second birth, she hoped for a VBAC and hired a doula, and had her second c section.
