Keep me

We do well not to trust our own hearts- we can and must trust in God's faithful mercy. So here we see a man who speaks-a man who seeks God with his whole heart, a humble and healthy Christian. What danger does such a man see-- He fears wandering from God's commandments, he is conscious of his own weakness and the ways in which he can be drawn or pushed from the path of righteousness. So what is the mercy he seeks-- That the Lord would uphold and keep him in the right path.
