Ebb Dawson Ebb Dawson, that deep-thinking philosopher character on the old TV series, Green Acres, is the person who uttered today’s profound title. I’ve loved that line since I first heard it. I have no idea how long ago that was. I was a kid who watched The Andy Griffith Show, Green Acres, F Troop, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, and McHale’s Navy. An online article entitled – 6 Signs You Can’t Afford Your Lifestyle – prompted me to think about what Ebb said.
