“Shadow as Preparation for Light” - Episode 5 in the series, "Christian Shadow Work"
The fifth episode of our series looks more carefully at the deeply personal experience of true repentance, without the stain of condemnation and exaggerated guilt so common throughout Christian history. Repentance, a change of heart and mind that leads one into a transformed way of life (though not without temptation), is an ongoing dynamic for life in and with Christ. Only we can recognize the truth of our errors and only we can choose to humbly turn towards the Love and Grace of God for healing medicine. That is our part to play and ours alone. Through Christ’s presence in us we can learn to perceive our shadows accurately, judge them fairly and receive the spiritual fruits that lie hidden within them.Support the showMany thanks to Camilla Lake for show notes and Podcast/Patreon production and communications.
