What is the most important thing to know about God? Many things may come to mind in answering this question; however, it does not matter if He is not viewed as King. Kingship bespeaks power, meaning that the King has the full right to instruct His creation in how to live. This idea was not lost on David as he penned Psalm 24. In this poem, He recognized God as the King and His subjects willingly and excitedly opening the gates for His arrival. Primarily using Psalm 24, we will explore the attitudes that must be present to recognize our God as both King of creation and the King of our lives.
