Personalize the truth. We can imagine the despair Hannah must have felt as her rival provoked her and her husband seemed not to understand her. We can also learn from what she did with her despair. She cried out to God. We don’t know whether this was the 1st or 100th time Hannah pleaded with the Lord, but we do know she didn’t hold back in weeping before Him and pouring out her heart. God wants us, too, to bring our pain and despair to Him. Is there something you need to bring before Him today?
