Summary: The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath. God gave it to us to help us enter into His presence. The Lord is wooing us and saying come into My presence and wait upon Me and be at rest. Show Notes: The Lord is opening up the sabbath rest to His people. The Lord is saying, “come into My presence and worship and rest. The sabbath already exist and we should simply enter into it. The Holy Spirit is leading us into this rest. It is a overflow of His Spirit in us. This is all about our relationship with the Father. The sabbath rest in not a day, but a new age of the kingdom.
Quotes: God gave it to us to be a blessing to help us enter into His presence, to lay aside every other thing, be in His presence in worship, and wait to on Him and know Him. The Sabbath already exists. If we're looking to enter into something that already exist, that changes our approaches to it. His Sabbath rest is for us; and it contains all He can be to us. The Sabbath rest has to do with a greater flow of the Holy Spirit; in us and through us. ...if it's His spirit, it's going to automatically putting us in a place of peace and rest If that's what He's doing... It all comes out of a relationship with the Lord, You have to have that time of coming into His presence and just drawing on Him. The Sabbath is an age. It's the Age of the Kingdom.
Scriptural References: Mark 2:27 Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Matthew 11: 28-30
