Mastering Herbalism with Bob Linde Focus on Thyroid with Tricia Perez
Welcome to Mastering Herbalism with Bob Linde of the Traditions School of Herbal Studies in Sunny Saint Petersburg FL Join us to explore the exciting world of herbal medicine. Be sure to subscribe to this podcast so that you get the new episode every month. Next month we will be talking about Herbal Support for Cancer Care. In this episode we do a deep dive about the Thyroid Gland. We meet with Tricia Perez of Mama's Essentials https://www.mamasessentials.org/about Tricia Streit Perez, who is a Clinical Western Herbalist at Acupuncture & Herbal Therapies, Certified Flower Essences Practitioner, and a Health and Wellness specialist. While guiding herself into remission from Graves’ Disease and Graves’ Eye Disease through focused changes to her lifestyle, she developed some life-changing herbal products that have supported the healing of herself and her loved ones. Of heightened interest to her is how the gut microbiome is affected by the foods we eat and how this, in turn, affects most of our body functions. She loves to work with all clients, but takes a special interest in people dealing with auto-immune, hormonal, and adrenal fatigue issues. Tricia is currently the School Director at Traditions School of Herbal Studies, where she completed her training in Clinical Western Herbalism, and also teaches a monthly Anatomy lecture series. In addition to her own wellness journey experience, Tricia has some pretty awesome tools in her toolbox to help you with your own movement goals. She has a BS in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training and a MS in Sports Management/Physical Education. She is a Certified Wellness Coach, an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, and holds multiple certifications in Prenatal and Postpartum Fitness. She spent over a decade of her career traveling with and providing medical care for college sports teams, and another decade teaching Anatomy, Health Sciences, and PE. Additionally, she owned a prenatal and postpartum fitness company for the first six years of her own motherhood. She would be honored to share her knowledge and experience with you. Tricia really enjoys focusing on educating you to be able to make life-long lifestyle changes. Her goal is to empower you to know and love your body, so you can give it what it needs to maximize your health. Tricia has a Thyroid series coming up soon https://fb.me/e/4Ej0IO3m7 If you have an herbal or health question you would like me to answer in a future episode, please email the show at traditionsherbschool@gmail.com and we will be sure to talk about it in one of the future episodes. If there is a guest you would like us to feature on the show please have them contact us as well. And remember you can also find me on https://www.youtube.com/@traditionssc... and you can interact with me live on Facebook Live the last Friday of every month https://fb.me/e/11UUueZps Of course, please consult your herbalist, ND, MD, AP or some other interesting set of letters for your personal health journey. And nothing I say is approved by any federal, state or local government agency and does not constitute medical advise…but your great grandmama would likely approve.
