Memories Of El Monte || In Between The Stories
And a good Sunday to you all.Today, I have a couple short stories in between the stories. And it's about a time and place when I was still a little crumb crusher with baby teeth, living in city that's just about 15 minutes outside of downtown Los Angeles, El Monte. I'll be retracing some childhood memories, and talk about a couple "close calls" that I had, some near brushes with death, at a very early age. I couldn't of been any older than 5 years old. Remember spinning tops, slinkies, poppers, and paper airplanes the ice cream trucks used to sell? Those were some of the toys I remember playing with as a kid. We were innocent, never mind the environment around us. With the gangs and drugs, under our parents watch, we still played outside, riding bikes, shooting water pistols at each other, and scraping our knees on the pavement. The good 'ol days, right? Yea, they sure were. Along with a couple close calls early on in life, like these two I'll share with you today. Any body else have a near death experience or close calls with the grim reaper?Stay tuned, we have another Giants Amongst Us coming up next Sunday.Thank you to all the listeners, worldwide. Let's keep on riding out this Journey together, and if you enjoy the Show and find value in it, GIVE IT A REVIEW on whichever platform you're listening from, and SHARE IT WITH A FRIEND.
