News Maker Erin Rooney on Samuel Library’s SamiCon

The annual SamiCon event is coming to Samuel’s Public Library September 9. We spoke to Samuel's Public Library's Adult Reference Supervisor Erin Rooney about the event in our latest news maker. News makers are sponsored by Warren County Together We are Community. Erin tells us that the event is a local chance to cosplay or costume play and go as your favorite character. She tells us the history and idea behind the event. The fact that it is happening September 9 gives you a good amount of time to get that costume together. Erin tells us of all the activities involved with this year's event including the theme and the fact that the whole thing is free and open to everyone.
