Nehemiah had worldly success in his life – I was cupbearer to the king (Nehemiah 1:11). Then, God’s call came to him to be involved in the work of the King of kings. This was an invitation from God Himself. How would Nehemiah respond? He could have said “no” to God. He had money, success, and position, but he gave it all to be involved in what God was doing. And, in the process, God used Nehemiah to impact countless lives and to change the world. God’s call has come to us, individually, as His Church today. How will you respond?
