Ok maybe we aren't lucky, but it's still ball and we'll still watch. Carolina had a fire sale a few weeks ago and they also shanked a game-winning PAT at Atlanta to lose in overtime. The Falcons are dreadful against the AFC North, but against everyone else they seem to be ok. In a primetime setting we'll see if the quarterback position on either side can snag some positive reviews. Geno Smith and the Seahawks take their act to Berlin against Tom Brady and the Bucs. Smith has to be in the MVP conversation and Pete Carroll is getting some Coach of the Year love too. A reshaped defense, exceptional QB play, and a rookie RB delivering are making a lot of Seattle backers some coin. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay has their own sets of issues and it starts with their future hall of fame QB, Tom Brady. Kirk Cousins vs Josh Allen seems like a one-sided gun fight on paper, but we aren't playing this on paper. An injury to Allen's ulnar nerve in his throwing arm has limited him in practice this week and the Vikings are trying to chase down Phlly for the top mark in the NFC. Can Minnesota's defense rise to the challenge and duplicate the trouble the Jets provided last week for Allen's offense? Green Bay is in a free fall and the Cowboys would love to shovel some more dirt on their grave. While Jerry Jones has a healthy amount of love for Zeke Elliot, Tony Pollard appears to be the best option in the backfield. Either way, Micah Parsons is going to feast on Aaron Rodgers if Green Bay's offensive line doesn't hold up. With no Aaron Jones in the backfield to balance things out, Green Bay is staring at their sixth straight loss. Being 1.5 games back of Seattle, the San Francisco 49ers can't afford to let things get out of reach in the NFC West. Now that Christian McCaffrey has had a couple games under his belt, how does SF exploit his talents in a matchup that puts a ton of pressure on the Chargers defense? While LA can't counter in the explosive category, they do have Justin Herbert at the helm to give them an edge in the quarterback category.
