So welcome to the show, Thomas. Thomas: Thanks, Joanna. It's great to be here. Joanna: Oh, yes. It's exciting to talk to you. But first up— Tell us a bit more about you and how you got into writing and podcasting, and now running a business for writers. Thomas: So back when I was in college, I started writing a book, as many college students do. I went to a writers' conference to sell my book, and I was in the marketing session, and the lady speaking was like, “You've got to start a blog. You've got to have a website.” All of the authors were terrified, like, how do I do that? I've been building websites since I was a kid. I met a real author there at this conference, and I was like, ‘well, I'll build your website for free, no problem.' So I built
