Object Permanence

Infants learn that mommy (or daddy or doggy) doesn’t cease to exist just because she’s out of sight or hearing. It’s a fundamental learning that allows the human brain to understand time and space relationships. It can also become idolatry foolishness.  Accompanying Scripture: Malachi 4:1-2a; Luke 21:5-19
