Aaron chats with four of the co-organizers of this year’s Good Neighbor Initiative, an annual effort to welcome UNC students back to Chapel Hill. The Good Neighbor Initiative grew out of tensions between student renters and longtime homeowners in the residential neighborhoods around campus – and in the last two decades it’s grown into a much-loved annual community-building tradition. This Thursday, September 28, the initiative wraps up with a Community Cookout from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the Hargraves Community Center; everyone’s invited for free food and mingling!
